Example: iPhone Voice Memo to Anonymized Transcript

After a session, a therapist opens Voice Memos on their iPhone and dictates: "Session with Sarah Chen, October 14th. Client reported increased anxiety around her work situation at Meridian Health. Contact number on file is 617-555-0182..."

The .m4a recording is AirDropped to a laptop. CamoConvert strips the file's embedded metadata — creation time, device identifiers, GPS tags if any — and converts to a clean audio format. CamoVoice transcribes the audio locally using an on-device Whisper model; the transcript never leaves the machine.

The transcript is opened in CamoText. The patient's name, employer, phone number, and date are automatically detected and replaced with tokens: <PERSON_a3f7>, <ORGANIZATION_c2b1>, <PHONE_d9e4>, <DATE_88f2>. The therapist reviews the output, manually flags an additional phrase, and exports the clean text. That anonymized note is then uploaded to any AI assistant for clinical analysis, treatment plan drafting, or progress note generation.
