It applies to all of the Company's websites and software products, including CamoText (camotext.ai) and CamoVoice (camovoice.com), and any related sites and applications. By accessing any of our websites or purchasing our software, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
Our software is designed to be run fully locally on your machine. We do not collect or store any data processed by the software. The software allows you to save output locally, but none of your data is transmitted back to us.
2. We Collect Information You Provide
Payment Information: Software purchases are sold and processed through Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as our authorized reseller and merchant of record (using payment processors such as Stripe and Stripe Tax). Your purchase is subject to Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy, available here. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited transaction and order information (such as your name, email, country, and order details) from Lemon Squeezy to fulfill your purchase, provide support, and meet our record-keeping and tax obligations.
Contact and Enquiry Information: If you complete a form on our website (such as our contact or enterprise quote form) or email us directly, we collect the information you submit (which may include your name, firm or organization name, email address, seat count, platform, product interest, and any details in your message) in order to respond to and manage your enquiry. Website forms are handled through our form provider, Netlify, which processes submissions on our behalf.
Email Address: If you provide your email, we may use it to send you update news, blog updates, and information about new software versions.

Access, rectify, or delete your personal data.

Opt-out of the sale of your personal data (we do not sell personal data).
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or comply with our legal obligations. If you request deletion of your data, we will delete it promptly unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
7. Data Processing Addendum (For EU Customers)
Our software runs entirely on your own device and does not transmit, collect, or send any content you process to us or any third party. Because all processing occurs locally under your sole control, we do not act as a processor of, and have no access to, the personal data you handle with the software, and a data processing addendum is generally not required for your use of the software itself.
Nevertheless, as a courtesy to customers based in the European Union who require one for their own compliance records, we will provide a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) upon request to address any limited personal data we process in connection with your purchase and support. Please contact us by email to request a DPA in the form of the template below.
Data Processing Addendum Template:
Data Processing Addendum
This Data Processing Addendum ("DPA") forms part of the agreement between [Customer Name] and CamoText LLC and applies to the extent that the Company processes personal data on behalf of the Customer under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate our website and process purchases, including Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record) and its payment processors such as Stripe, and Netlify (hosting and form handling). These services have their own privacy policies; the Lemon Squeezy policy is linked above in Section 2.
Our website uses Lemon Squeezy's affiliate tracking, which may set a cookie to attribute a purchase to a referring affiliate. Our software itself does not use cookies or any tracking, and sets no cookies of its own beyond those necessary for the website and checkout to function.
Our CamoSign application queries the latest Ethereum block to provide trusted timestamp verification at the time of each signature and finalization, but does not expose or store any data on our servers. The API provider for this Ethereum block query is Moralis, and their privacy policy is available here; the query only exposes browser-based information to their servers at the time of the query.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of the website and services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and are subject to the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms and Conditions.
